PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out running back Jaylen Warren with a knee injury. That means Najee Harris and Cordarrelle Patterson will be the top two running backs this week. Jonathan Ward or Aaron Shampklin could receive an elevation from the practice squad. Warren’s injury is week-to-week.

The Steelers will be without Jaylen Warren against the Indianapolis Colts as the running back recovers from a knee injury that popped up in the Week 3 win against the Los Angeles Chargers. Warren didn't participate in practice all week and was ruled out Friday.

Reports this week indicated that the Steelers would be playing without running back Jaylen Warren and edge rusher Alex Highsmith this week and confirmation came from the Steelers on Friday.
