The Petaluma Police Department (PPD) has a suspect in custody after a man targeted and wounded a woman in a BB gun shooting attack. On Sept. 17 at 10:58 p.m., PPD said officers responded to the 100 block of Howard Street for a report of a bleeding woman,

A female student notified police of the incident, which reportedly happened near the campus Welcome Center at about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday.
