Linda Napolitano says an upcoming Netflix docuseries about her claim that she was abducted by aliens has defamed her and stolen the work of an author who wrote a book on her story.

She says she was abducted from her New York City apartment in 1989. Others say it was a hoax. Her lawyer tells TODAY.com, "This was a true event to Linda."
