Nashville's Juuse Saros and Calgary’s Dustin Wolf battled between the pipes all night in a tightly contested game that remained scoreless into the third period. Calgary scored the eventual game winner on a face-off play and put the game away with an empty-net tally at the end of regulation.

The NHL slate on Friday includes a game between the Nashville Predators (5-9-3) and the Calgary Flames (8-6-3), starting at 9:00 PM ET at Scotiabank Saddledome and broadcast on ESPN+. The Predators are 14th and the Flames eighth in the Western Conference.
