The freshman quarterback is the latest player to announce his departure from the 49ers’ football program in the wake of Biff Poggi being fired and Tim Albin being hired.

The Gators bolstered their QB room with former Charlotte 49er Deshawn Purdie, who committed to the Gators via the transfer portal on Sunday.

Arkansas landed the commitment of Charlotte transfer receiver O’Mega Blake on Sunday.
