Beauty in Black, a two-part series that premiered on Oct. 24, follows Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) — a struggling stripper — whose life takes a turn when she crosses paths with a wealthy family behind a cosmetics dynasty and a sex trafficking scheme.

The 16-episode series premieres on Thursday and is the latest project that's come from Perry's creative, multi-year deal with Netflix.
