Hundreds paid respects to a lorry driver from Kerala, Arjun, whose body was found after 71 days in river following a massive landslide in Karnataka's Shirur.

Arjun’s body was fished out of the Gangavali river in Ankola, Shirur, earlier this week. The discovery put an end to a two-month long search for his body.

As the ambulance carrying Arjun’s remains arrived in Kerala's Kannadickal, people from all walks of life lined the streets and many waited by the roadside silently grieving his loss.
