Commenting on the incident, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in a post on X wrote, "Another bridge collapsed in Bhagalpur. In Nitish Kumar's regime, the roots of corruption are deep but the foundation of bridges is weak. The state witnessed the collapse of several bridges, constructed at the cost of several crores, in the last 2-3 months.

RJD MP Misa Bharti lashed out at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over the law and order situation in Bihar. Speaking to ANI, she said that Nitish Kumar's grip on the government has weakened. She added that the RJD raises the law and order issue every day.

PATNA: In yet another incident of bridge collapse in Bihar, a portion of a bridge on Friday collapsed due to flood water in Bhagalpur district, inviting sharp criticism from the Opposition. No one was injured in the incident.

A small bridge in Bhagalpur collapsed due to floodwaters, disrupting traffic. Authorities have prohibited crossings on similar structures. No injuries reported as investigations begin.
