Mike Tyson's longtime friend Tom Patti says the legendary boxer slapped Jake Paul at Thursday's weigh-in because Paul stepped on Tyson's foot.

Reports indicated that Paul was getting $40 million just for getting in the ring, and that Tyson set to take home $20 million of his own.

Friday’s match between Tyson and Paul, which was prefaced by Katie Taylor Vs. Amanda Serrano 2, was the biggest boxing gate outside of Las Vegas in US history, surpassing $17.8 million. More than 70,000 were in attendance at the match.
