Members of both sides of the political aisle in Dane County continue to get out the vote for their presidential hopefuls with less than two days until the election.

In a special election on Tuesday night, Sen. Melissa Agard, D-Madison, won the Dane County executive race over challenger Dana Pellebon. Agard received 61% of the vote at 74.6% of precincts reporting — a 23.3% margin over Pellebon’s 37.7%.

Next week, thousands of voters in Dane County will choose their next County Executive. The race, which initially had four candidates in the primary, has now narrowed
