The pop culture convention at Novi’s Suburban Collection Showplace was a welcome oasis from work and political tensions after the U.S. general election, attendees told The News.

The 2024 fall edition will be held this weekend, Nov. 8-10, at the Suburban Collection Showplace at 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi. The convention takes place from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Some special events will be held at Emagine Novi at44425 W. 12 Mile Rd.

That’s just one of the reasons that fans of all ages descend on Motor City Comic Con twice a year, to spread the love of all things pop culture. Billed as the state’s “largest pop-cultural event,” Motor City Comic Con has planned attractions, exhibits and special guests from tv, movies, the streaming industry and the art and comic world.
