Polls in Texas have closed at 7 p.m., but anyone in line at a voting location by that time still has the right to cast a ballot.

The meeting had been on the Tarrant County Commissioners Court’s schedule for weeks. One commissioner says she didn't learn about the cancellation until the night before.

On Election Day, if your county participates in the Countywide Polling Place Program (CWPP) – commonly referred to as ‘Vote Centers’ – you can vote at any location in your county of residence. Most large counties, including Tarrant County, have countywide voting.
