Southwest Airlines has announced plans to offer nonstop service between Memphis International Airport and Nashville International Airport.

In June, Sun Country Airlines became the eighth major airliner to fly to and from the Albuquerque airport, offering a seasonal, twice-weekly nonstop service between the Sunport and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. And in September 2023, Southwest added a daily, nonstop flight between the Sunport and Long Beach Airport.

A state investigation has found that Nashville’s district attorney secretly recorded defense attorneys, colleagues and other visitors without their knowledge.

Davidson County District Attorney Glenn Funk recorded criminal defense attorneys and other visitors to his office and the private building in which its housed, as well as using government resources to advance his 2022 reelection campaign,

Tennessee Comptroller’s Office, working in conjunction with the TBI, conducted the inquiry into Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk.
