Apple plans to release new MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini models with the M4 series of chips "this year," according to Bloomberg's

Apple’s most recent update to the Mac Mini was in January 2023, where it gave the device the M2 chip - in other words, it’s long overdue for a processor upgrade. There were also significant updates to the MacBook and iMac models during October’s 2023 virtual event, bringing them up to the M3 chip.

Leaker Mark Gurman seems to be less sure that Apple is about to spring these M4-toting Macs on us - we could be waiting until November, perhaps.

Last month we reported that Apple was preparing multiple M4-powered Macs for release in late 2024, and now a new report says that those plans are very much on track. However, it seems that the launch of the M4 versions of some of Apple's best-loved Macs might have been pushed back to November 2024.
