Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 is hoisted over four areas in Luzon as Typhoon Leon (international name: Kong-rey) intensified into a typhoon on Tuesday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said. In its 11 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the following areas are under TCWS No. 2:

Marce (international name: Yinxing) further intensified and reached the typhoon category by mid-morning on Tuesday, prompting the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No.1 over 12 areas in Luzon.

Typhoon Marce will continue to intensify and reach its peak as it makes landfall over Northern Luzon tomorrow, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
