While the water levels of rivers in Poland are falling again, the country's authorities are taking stock of the victims and damage from the devastating floods. Nine bodies have been found so far, police chief Marek Boron said following a Cabinet meeting in Warsaw.

Two additional remains were discovered in southwestern Poland during post-flood cleanup, possibly increasing the flood-related death toll to nine as authorities proceed with their investigations.
