Ukraine has long been affected by systematic drone and missile attacks on civilian targets from Russia. Russia has been heavily targeting Ukraine's energy and heating infrastructure, which could have serious consequences for people as winter approaches.

On the night of November 14, Russian terrorists launched an attack on Ukraine using 59 Shahed-type strike drones and other unidentified drones. Ukraine's air defense managed to shoot down 21 drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Russian forces attacked Odesa Oblast with two Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missiles and also targeted the whole of Ukraine with 29 Shahed loitering munitions on the night of 14-15 November. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed one missile and 25 drones.
