BOSTON - Protesters on opposing sides of the abortion debate clashed on Boston Common leading to nine arrests. The conflict started after a men's march of anti-abortion advocates rallied outside of Planned Parenthood on Commonwealth Avenue on Saturday morning.

The “ Clown March Boston ” went on in an effort to “upstage” the “ Men’s March ” which seeks to abolish abortions. Protesters were seen in the Boston Common where multiple arrests were made, according to WCVB. Barricades were set up around Parkman Bandstand on the Common by the time protesters had arrived.
