USA TODAY's election fellows revealed some of the most competitive races in the country that are key for parties to win a majority in Congress.
U.S. District Judge R. David Proctor ruled a state law violated the federal Voting Rights Act, which allows blind, disabled and illiterate voters to choose a person to assist them.
“Sample ballots for all 67 counties have been made publicly available on our website,” Secretary of State Wes Allen said in a press release. “I would encourage all Alabamians to review these sample ballots as they get ready to head to the polls on November 5.”

With the general election a little over a month away, the Alabama Secretary of State has released sample ballots of all the offices and amendments that will appear on each county's ballot.
