The Dallas Cowboys may be out of playoff contention, but they are having fun on offense with Cooper Rush doing his part to keep things rolling. Having a 4-1 record in their last five games, which could easily have been 5-0,

Dak Prescott is the quarterback of the near future for the Dallas Cowboys. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones will have to decide soon whether he feels the same about coach Mike McCarthy.

With Dak Prescott out for the season, Rush has gotten the audition to return in 2025 with six starts and three more to come.

This season, Rush has thrown for 1,697 yards, 11 touchdowns, and just three interceptions in relief of Dak Prescott.

The Atlanta Falcons received an early Christmas gift from the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening. After defeating the New York Giants, 34-7, the Falcons got to sit back and watch as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were upset by the Cowboys in prime time.

The Cowboys quarterback, who took over as the starter after a season-ending injury for Dak Prescott, now has a 3-3 record this year and an 8-4 record as a starter for his career. Rush also started one game in 2021 and five in 2022 in relief of Prescott.

Cooper Rush and the Dallas offense seem to be rounding into form, although it is almost certainly a case of too little, too late for the Cowboys to make a playoff push.

Last time the Eagles saw Cooper Rush, he was a mess. In his first start after Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending torn hamstring, Rush managed only 45 passing yards in the Cowboys’ 34-6 loss to the Eagles at AT&T Stadium.
