Amazon India is moving its headquarters from Bengaluru's World Trade Centre to a new location near the airport by 2026. The relocation aims to cut rental costs by up to two-thirds, but has raised concerns among employees about longer commutes.

Amazon India is relocating its corporate headquarters in Bengaluru from the World Trade Centre (WTC) to a new office 20 km away, near the airport. The move, set to begin in April 2025 and conclude by April 2026, is part of the e-commerce giant's cost-cutting measures, according to a Mint report.

According to two company executives, Amazon's new office in Sattva, a 15-minute drive from the airport on the city's outskirts, is expected to cost less than a third of the nearly ₹250 per sq. ft. of rent the company currently pays.
