Taylor Fritz has spoken out on what it's like to face Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner as the pair continue to light up the ATP Tour and establish themselves as the faces of tennis

“It isn’t a good sign for tennis, in general,” said Alcaraz about WADA’s appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), after his 6-1, 6-2 win against Tallon Griekspoor at the China Open. “It seemed like the case was close, and now, after a month, it’s open again, which is surprising,” he added.

Carlos Alcaraz says he sympathises with rival Jannik Sinner over the reopening of his doping case, and thinks it is “not a good sign for tennis”.

Top-ranked tennis player Jannik Sinner said he was "very disappointed and also surprised" after a decision to clear him of wrongdoing following two positive drug tests was appealed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
