A Pakistani police officer says gunmen stormed a camp and and kidnapped 20 laborers in the country's southwest

QUETTA, Pakistan (AP) — Gunmen stormed a house and killed seven laborers and wounded an eighth in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, a police official said Saturday. The workers were all from the same town in Punjab, which is in Pakistan’s east.

Seven labourers were shot dead in southwestern Pakistan, police said Sunday, in a region where ethnic violence is being waged by militants.

Pakistan's Balochistan province has been rocked by a series of attacks on Punjabi workers by separatist militants. Baloch nationalist groups accuse the central government and China of stealing the province's resources.
