Meghan Markle's biographer and ally Omid Scobie is following in her footsteps and leaving the U.K. to pursue a career in Hollywood. According to reports, Scobie secured a deal with Universal to turn his book Royal Spin into a television series.

The royal guru's latest business venture -- a book and TV project titled "Royal Spin" -- has reportedly been sold to Universal TV for a series development.

Omid Scobie has hit back at reports claiming he's writing a new book about Meghan Markle. The author, who has long been dubbed the Duchess of Sussex's "mouthpiece" due to his links with her and Prince Harry, took to social media to talk about his new book which will be made into a TV show called Royal Spin.

The British journalist, who co-penned the biography Finding Freedom about Markle’s entry into exit from British royal life, has relocated to LA while he works on a book and TV project, both called ‘Royal Spin’, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
