Lee Miller, a Poughkeepsie native and acclaimed World War II photographer, is the focus of 'Lee,' starring Kate Winslet, which premieres Sept. 27.

Miller was an American photographer who became a correspondent for British Vogue during World War II, shooting everything from London after the Blitz to the liberation of Dachau. In 1945, David E. Scherman took a rather famous photo of her in Hitler’s bathtub in Munich.

In addition to Winslet as Miller, the cast includes Alexander Skarsgård as Roland Penrose, Andy Samberg as Life magazine photographer David Scherman, and Marion Cotillard as Solange d’Ayen, Miller’s friend and fashion editor of French Vogue.
