St. Louis University and La Salle field hockey players ran from the field Friday afternoon in Philadelphia when the sound of gunfire was heard outside of the facility. A rapid stream of shots can be heard on video from the field.

A shooting in Philadelphia near Temple University prompted two field hockey teams to sprint off the field in the middle of a game Friday.

The field hockey game, being played between La Salle University and St. Louis University at a field in Philadelphia, was called early after everyone on the field had to rush for cover when gunshots were heard Friday afternoon.
