After back-to-back wins over Big 12 opponents and a rematch against San Diego State on the horizon, the Gonzaga men's basketball team had to keep its mind focused on the task at hand Friday night, which was taking care of business at home against an experienced UMass-Lowell squad.

Khalif Battle scored 21 points, including 4 for 4 on 3-point attempts, and No. 4 Gonzaga cruised to a 113-54 victory over UMass Lowel.

UMass Lowell (2-1) made just 36% of its shots and committed 25 turnovers, leading to the Zags’ 36-2 advantage in fastbreak points and 22-point edge in points off turnovers. Gonzaga had 16 steals, including three by Stromer and Battle.
