The USC football team has been put on probation and fined $50,000 for violating NCAA rules, the NCAA announced on Tuesday. The program had eight analysts involved with coaching activities during spring and fall of 2022, and spring of 2023. That is more than the program is allowed to use, and that is what violated NCAA rules.

USC football is, if you are not willing to be generous, falling apart at the seams. The Trojans are at the forefront of an investigation by the NCAA. Lincoln Riley has just one more distraction to deal with as the Trojans prepare to face Nebraska this Saturday.
