BOURNEMOUTH, England (Reuters) -Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo scored one first-half goal and played a big part in creating another to set his side on their way to a convincing 3-1 home win over struggling Southampton in the Premier League on Monday.

Brazilian striker Evanilson got his first English Premier League goal and Antoine Semenyo turned on the style as Bournemouth beat south coast rival Southampton 3-1.

After Semenyo was fouled by Flynn Downes deep in Saints territory, the quick-thinking Marcus Tavernier swiftly dinked the resulting free-kick over the static visiting defence for stretching summer arrival Evanilson to find the bottom left corner.
