We went on a lovely sunny autumn day, almost the end of the season. Perhaps unfortunate for us that quite so many other people had the same idea, the car park staff were tearing their hair out, poor… Full review by Daisyatthedairy

I really wanted to enjoy Berkeley Castle, given that when we went was the Wizards school/Dragons event and I’ve heard so many good things about other peoples visits. However, they clearly over-sold t… Full review by AshleighLou23

I'm not sure about the time we will arrive, I've read that if I want to book the tickets I have to choose the time slot, but it's not a strict arrival time. But what about the guided tour? If I book the guided tour at 13, and I arrive at 12, do I have to wait for the booked guided tour, or I can join the guided tour at 12? Can I book the tickets and then pay for the guided tour when I arrive? Thank you!

Though if you booked in for 13.00 and arrived at 12.00 there is plenty to see and do while you wait (the garden, look at the castle then return to the entrance for the tour). I was on crutches when I was there so was worried about keeping up with a tour group. I found enough written information in each room. You will definitely enjoy it.

We will be staying near the castle next week (end of December) and wanted to know if we can get close enough to see and photograph the outside of the castle? I know the inside tours do not run again until March. Thanks!
A:
Think it would be difficult from entrance area, but a distance shot may be available from minor roads, from round the estate

Are the public allowed to hunt the cubs, foxes and badges on the estate ? Locals are reporting your deers are for meat? Why is this all HUSH HUSH???
A:
Hunting live animals is illegal in this country. So my answer is No! The deer may well be sent for slaughter for their meat but that is an entirely different matter.
Q:
Can I bring a dog
A:
I Don’t think so.
Q:
Would it be suitable for someone with limited mobility?
A:
Unfortunately access to the upstairs rooms of the Castle is limited due to the number of steps to get to that area. We do have lots of seats dotted around for people to rest though.
